The following are basic rules governing use of the beach area and are for the protection of our members:

• Use of the beach area and picnic grounds is limited to members of the association and their guests. Simply being a resident of Berkeley Lake does not entitle one to the use of the area.
• You must carry your membership card with you at the beach at all times.
• Guests must have a guest card.
• Children must be accompanied by adults.
• Swimming is at your own risk. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
• Vehicles parked at the beach must have parking stickers.
• No pets, dogs, cats, etc. are allowed at the beach.
• No walking on the dam.
• No fires.
• No glass containers.
• Pick up your own trash.
• Gates close at sunset.

We feel privileged to offer a clean safe beach for BLHA members. There are several security people who will enforce our 'members only' policy. Please carry your card and don't be offended when asked for a card. This helps make it safe for everyone.

Be kind to everyone who uses the beach by cleaning up all your belongings, towels, chairs, toys, etc.

• Please pick up your trash.
• Leave your pets at home.
• If your pet is on the boat, please secure it.
